| Apple Ethernet AUI
Adapter consists of an Apple Ethernet connector attached by
cable to a unit that provides a 15-pin, D-type flat connector
(AUI connector). This unit provides its own power supply, insuring
tat the full power requirements of the external transceiver
will be met.
Supporting the IEEE 802.3 AUI Specification, the AUI Adapter
allows you to connect your Apple Ethernet device to external
transceivers for thick coas and other Ethernet media types.
Apple Ethernet Port is provided through the installation
of an interface card such as the Ethernet LC Card or the Ether
NB Card. |
